communicate well with others, resolve conflicts well, and make a positive

Imaginative
Resources for Children offers institutional and individual
consultation, by Founder Claire Austin, M.Phil., educated at the London
School of Economics and Cambridge University (in the United Kingdom)
and at UCLA (in the United States). She has developed a database of
critically evaluated books to help children through challenging times.
For example, when children face death, divorce, serious illness, or
self-esteem issues.
Her services include creating customized Therapeutic Libraries;
tailoring unique recommendations to any child's age, circumstances
and caregiver concerns, and, arranging for book purchase and priority
shipping.

Seconds is a nonprofit organization dedicated to bringing emotional
intelligence into practice in schools, families, organizations, and
communities.
Six Seconds teaches emotional intelligence (or "EQ") skills
so children and adults can lead more joyful, complete, productive, and

optimism, empathy, management impulses, and resiliency - create self-awareness,
